Is Kinasao open year round?

Yes! We are open for use by schools, churches, families and organizations. 

Does Kinasao provide food services to rental groups?

Kinasao staff are available to cook meals for your group throughout the year. Kinasao provides food services for all groups from May-August. The rest of the year groups have the option of preparing their own food. 

Are the buildings winterized?

All of our sleeping accommodations are winterized.  The chapel is not winterized, and is shut down by Thanksgiving each year. 

Can we have alcohol at the camp?

Kinasao has a strict no alcohol policy. This policy includes weddings. 

Does Kinasao have free wifi?

Wifi access is not available for public use at Kinasao.  Rental groups can choose to add on wifi access for a charge.  Remember we live in the bush and wifi is not always reliable for streaming/video services!

Can we have pets at the camp?

Pets are welcome at the camp, but must remain on a leash at all times. There is one pet friendly cabin at Kinasao - Galatians.  This is the only building pets are allowed into.  

Is smoking permitted in buildings?

Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings, and is only allowed in designated outside areas. 

Is a deposit required?

A deposit is required to secure your booking. Your dates will not be considered booked until a deposit is received. A $500 deposit is required for bookings in the low season, and a $1000 deposit is required for bookings in the high season.

What if we need to cancel our event?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• If the rental is cancelled up to 60 in advance, your deposit is refundable.
  
• If cancelled between 30-60 days, your deposit can be transferred to another weekend in the same year.
  
• If cancelled with less than 30 days notice, your deposit is non-refundable and it cannot be transferred.
