Children and Youth

Kinasao offers residential camps for youth ages 7 to 17 from the beginning of July to the end of August. Each week Kinasao has qualified camp leaders supervising cabins and camp activities. Weekly staff include: program director, cabin counsellors, lifeguard and first aid staff, program activity assistents and volunteers. Come and experience a great week at camp!

Registration is each Sunday at 2:30pm. Everyone is welcome for Worship at 10:45am with burgers and fellowship afterwards. Pickup is Friday at noon. Parents are welcome at the final chapel on Friday at 11:30am, and to stay for lunch!

  • 8:15am Wakeup
  • 8:30am Breakfast
  • 9:00am Cleanup
  • 9:30am Chapel
  • 10:00am Morning Camp Activities Often includes: challenge course, camp craft and nature activity.
  • 11:00am Bible Study Length varies by age group. Younger campers have 45 minute Bible study times while older campers have 1 hour Bible study times.
  • 12:00pm Dressup for theme Lunch
  • 12:15pm Lunch
  • 12:45pm Cleanup
  • 1:00pm Quiet Time A chance to take a break and relax in the cabin. Quiet time varies in length from 30 minutes to one hour.
  • 1:30pm Camp Skills Campers signup for two skills each full week of camp. They get to learn and practice these skills during these times. Skill choices often include: Archery, Arts, Basketball, Canoeing, Drama, Kayaking, Outdoor Survival and Nature's Wild Things. The length of skills varies by age group.
  • 2:45pm Canteen Need a snack? The canteen opens every afternoon and gives campers a chance to get some snacks.
  • 3:15pm Free Time Options often include: swimming, horseback riding, crafts, games, trampoline and other waterfront activities ie: canoeing, kayaking, paddleboats, boat rides.
  • 5:00pm Dressup for Supper Theme
  • 5:30pm Supper
  • 6:00pm Cleanup
  • 6:30pm Chapel Chapel time varies by age group.
  • 7:00pm Camp Wide Game Games often include: Robinhood, Chaos and Control and Ten Flags!
  • 8:00pm Cocoa & Entertainment Nothing like laughing at the consellors!
  • 8:45pm Campfire
  • 9:30pm Bed Jr. youth and mini campers go to bed around 9:30 pm, youth campers go to bed around 10:00 pm and teen campers around 11:00 pm.
