Assistant to the Site Manager

The position of Assistant to the Site Manager is a half time position and the schedule and duties will be determined in consultation with the new Site Manager. Duties will probably be assigned in one of the following areas: Guest Services, Project Coordination or Property Maintenance.

Guest Services duties would include:

  • Hosting of all rental groups throughout the year
  • Housekeeping before and after all guest groups
  • Menu planning and food purchasing for groups as needed
  • Coordinating cooks or cooking for guest groups as required
  • Hiring and supervising additional housekeeping and kitchen staff when needed
  • Working within a given budget for all food and supply purchases

Project Coordination duties would include:

  • Assisting in planning all of our building, property, systems and equipment development projects
  • Designing or acquiring designs for given projects
  • Obtaining quotes for all materials and labor for projects
  • Contacting, coordinating and supervising volunteers to assist with projects
  • Working within given budgets for each project
  • Evaluating and reporting on development projects

Property Maintenance duties would include:

  • Assisting with the maintenance of, and repairs to, all buildings, equipment, vehicles and water, septic and electrical systems
  • Property maintenance such as clearing roads, cutting lawns, removing trees, clearing trails, etc.
  • The Assistant to the Site Manager must have an active faith in Jesus Christ and seek to honor God in all areas of their life.
  • They must be able to take direction from a supervisor and work as a member of a team, as well as carry out assigned duties independently.
  • They must be able to communicate clearly and report and record activities as required.
  • This position will work under the supervision of the Site Director and report to the Executive Director of Kinasao.

  • The Assistant to the Site Manager will be paid an hourly wage.
